Steps

- In AppGallery Connect, create a project and add an app of type Web (server-side OAuth) [MEM].
- Open Health Kit (https://developer.huawei.com/consumer/en/hms/huaweihealth/) and apply for access: describe the product, select the data scopes (read only) and submit for review [OFF/MEM].
- In the project's OAuth settings, set the redirect URL
https://api.getlatido.com/connect/callback/huawei[MEM: field location]. - Copy the Client ID (App ID) and Client Secret (App Secret).
- In Latido, Providers → Huawei Health → Custom app: paste both. No webhook and no extra setting: Latido polls (a subscription API may exist, UNVERIFIED).
Scopes
openid plus Health Kit read scopes in the form
https://www.huawei.com/healthkit/<type>.read, e.g. step.read,
heartrate.read, sleep.read, activityrecord.read, bodyweight.read
[MEM, UNVERIFIED exact strings: copy them from the console when you apply].
Authorize with access_type=offline to get a refresh token.
Gotchas
- The member must have authorised your app inside the Huawei Health app; the
x-health-app-privacyresponse header says 2 when they have not, 3 when they are not a Health app user [OFF]. - Request times are in ms but sample points in nanoseconds [OFF].
- Queries are capped at about 30 days per call [OFF].
- Rate limits: UNVERIFIED.
